Netizens slammed Dick Gordon
Senator Dick Gordon has this statement in a recent interview, âpagod na kamiâ, and this was lambasted by netizens.
The lawmaker, who also happens to be the chairman of the Philippine Red Cross, had a phone interview on GMAâs morning show Unang Hirit.
He was interviewed by host/news anchor Connie Sison regarding the COVID-19 mass testing in the Philippines. Gordon said that there is no easy way to reimburse the payment for the testing.
When Sison was about to ask her follow-up question, the Senator interrupted her and said, âYou listen to me please, kasi parang di ka nakikinig. Iâm sorry but I need to be frank.â
Gordon stressed that people should understand that taking the COVID-19 test has a payment. As the lawmaker continue to have his fiery statement, Sison greeted him. âAlright, Senator, magandang umaga naman ho sa inyo sir,â the news anchor said.
Then, Dick Gordon said, âhindi, pagod na kami.â This interview of the lawmaker received bashing on Twitter. Several netizens pointed out that even though he is tired, he has no right to be rude.

Some even pointed out that frontliners are much tired than him while some said that it is part of his responsibility to relate to the people what they need to know.
