Gretchen Barretto did not join her former co-hosts
Socialite Gretchen Barretto allegedly neglected the invitation that she got from her former co-hosts.
Gretchen, also known as Greta or La Greta ins the entertainment industry has long been away from the spotlight. However, that does not mean that her name is already out of the circulations.
Once in awhile, attention on social media is given to her because of certain issues and controversies. After taking a break from acting, Greta concentrated on being a wife and a mother. She would sometimes share videos of her home and family.
For those who already made their showbiz hiatus, reunions are ways to connect with former co-stars. However, based on the article from Pang-Masa, it appeared that Gretchen Barretto turned down the invitation from her former co-hosts in GMA Supershow.
Reportedly, those who attended the reunion said that Gretchen Barretto was invited. However, the reason why she wasn’t able come was not revealed.
Just recently, the former hosts of the show once again gathered together for a project that would give hope to people amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the video, John Nite was the one who did the introduction and then, Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado, Dawn Zulueta, Mariz, Jam Morales, Rachel Anne Wolfe, Princess Punzalan, Arlene Muhlach, and Jackielou Blanco sang the song Smile.
The said song was the favorite of the late German Moreno, the main host of the show. Based on the article, Dawn Zulueta and Maricel Laxa were also in the show and they gave their messages while Pops Fernandez was acknowledged as she was the one who organized the video.
On the other hand, there was no mention of Gretchen Barretto.
