Talent manager Ogie Diaz took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he reacted to the National Telecommunications Commission’s order to recall the television and radio frequencies of ABS-CBN.
Recently, Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba and Deputy Commissioners Edgardo Cabarios and Delilah Deles signed a paper recalling the ABS-CBN frequencies.
According to them, they are mandated to recall the network’s frequencies on TV and radio since it does not have a Congressional franchise to operate.
NTC recalled the channels attributed to Kapamilya Network particularly Channel 2 as well as the radio frequencies of the network such as DZMM and MOR 101.9.
The order prompted Kapamilya talents and workers to react including talent manager Ogie Diaz who earlier vent out his frustration thru social media
“Binabawi ng NTC ang frequency ng ABS-CBN. Kelan naman mababawi ang pera ng taumbayan sa mga kurakot sa Philhealth?,” he wrote in a Facebook post.
Amid the issue, he cited the infamous corruption within the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).
PhilHealth corruption first erupted after resigned PhilHealth anti-fraud legal officer Thorrsson Montes Keith revealed in a Senate hearing that a whopping P15 billion worth of funds have been pocketed by the so-called ‘mafia‘ in a “syndicate-like” transactions.
