This, as Kathnails by KCMB — owned by Kathryn and her mother Min Bernardo — had been greatly affected by the pandemic.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph last September 1, Kathryn said that they had managed to give financial assistance to their employees during the early weeks of the community quarantine.
However, some of their employees had decided to leave in order to provide for their families.

Kathryn said that their employees can leave KathNails if they wanted to, adding that they could also come back if they wanted, especially now that there were a lot of people who were unemployed due to pandemic.
“Basta choice nila kung anong gusto nila“, Kathryn added.
Meanwhile, Kathryn Bernardo and her mother had decided to reopen all eight branches of KathNails by KCMB in Metro Manila.
Although Kathryn said that she and her mother were thinking of creative ways that would be both helpful and safe for their customers.
