Veteran broadcast journalist Ted Failon is currently being rumored to transfer to TV5 after leaving ABS-CBN.
Recently, Kapamilya Network confirmed in a statement that the 58-year-old broadcaster is leaving the giant network after being with them for 30 years.
Ted Failon, who earlier made a farewell to DZMM- the radio arm of ABS-CBN, is set to make his final “TV Patrol” appearance on Monday, August 31.
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that according to two sources of PEP.ph; one working for TV5 and the other is Ted’s co-worker on ABS-CBN, the radio program of Ted Failon on Radyo5 has been given a green light.
Ted Failon reportedly will include the staff of Failon Ngayon, his radio show on DZMM, in his new radio program on Radyo5.
Failon Ngayon has been on the radio for almost 11 years. It started as a weekly radio program and took over the 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. time slot weekdays in September 2011.

Meanwhile, among those who were forced to leave ABS-CBN due to the non-renewal of its franchise are Jeff Canoy, Ted Esguerra, and Mahar Lagma, Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja, Vic De Leon Lima, DJ Chacha and to name a few.
