According to two sources; one working for TV5 and the other is Ted’s co-worker on ABS-CBN, the veteran broadcaster’s program on the Kapatid network radio station has been given a green light.

Based on the article published by PEP.ph, Ted Failon will include the staff of Failon Ngayon, his radio show on DZMM, in his new radio program on Radyo5.

Failon Ngayon has been on the radio for almost 11 years. It started as a weekly radio program and took over the 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. time slot weekdays in September 2011.

Meanwhile, Red Alert (Response In Emergencies and Disasters), the Sunday radio program of Jeff Canoy, Ted Esguerra, and Mahar Lagmay on DZMM did not survive the disaster brought about by the non-renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise.

The three thanked those who patronize their program, who said goodbye on the air this Sunday morning, August 23, 2020.

Red Alert has been heard on DZMM for seven years, where Atom Araullo was also a part of it before moving to GMA-7 in September 2017.

Earlier, the tandem of Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja left DZMM, moving together with DZRH for their radio program that will begin on August 31.

Broadcaster Vic De Leon Lima also said goodbye to his DZMM listeners yesterday, August 22, who will transfer to DWIZ.

  1. Lesson learned. If you are in a network, do not criticize others, so when time comes you have no more place to go, may sasalo sayo..dahil walang permanent sa mundo..
