Singer-turned-Army reservist Ronnie Liang gave free plane tickets to people who could not return to their province or so-called locally stranded individuals (LSIs).
Recently, he visited the LSIs at the Rizal Stadium and Army Gymnasium and handed out free plane tickets to the delight of the beneficiaries.
Aside from giving free tickets to LSIs, he also sang to the frontliners to boost their morale.
“As an army reservist and a concerned Filipino, gusto ko talagang makatulong. That’s really my purpose naman talaga kaya rin ako nag-join sa army—to help and serve people,” said the singer-actor.
“Ito nga narinig natin ang balita tungkol sa mga kababayan natin na gustong umuwi sa probinsya kaya nagpaabot tayo ng free plane tickets,” he added.

He also encouraged fellow Filipinos to help, unite, and stand despite political differences.
Meanwhile, Ronnie Liang previously recorded a song tribute to slain soldiers who were killed by policemen in Sulu.
The song entitled “Awit Kawal” features the service and dedication of brave soldiers to the motherland.
The former Pinoy Dream Academy contestant also invited anyone who’s willing to be enlisted and be part of the Philippine Army.
Ronnie Liang is still into show business. In fact, he will soon resume taping his upcoming movie, Harang.
He’s also excited to announce his new venture as an entrepreneur.
