Answers of Pokwang to Statements of Bont Oropel, BF of Baninay Bautista
POKWANG – The comedienne reacted to the statements of Baninay Bautista’s boyfriend, Bont Oropel.
Recently, former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Baninay Bautista and her vlogger boyfriend, Bont Oropel, announced that they tested positive for COVID-19.
Prior to it, the father of Bont died and he’s a suspected coronavirus patient. His remains were cremated right away and his family underwent swab testing.
Baninay and the mother and sibling of Bont tested positive for COVID-19. When it was his time to test, Bont’s result also turned out positive for coronavirus.
Both Bont and Baninay took to social media vlogs revealing that they tested positive for COVID-19. The former PBB housemate posted her video last August 18. It was in July when they tested for the disease and she already tested negative two weeks ago.
Last August 16, Baninay Bautista has appeared as a guest to a game show hosted by Pokwang. The comedienne called her out and scolded her over her vlog. To this, the former PBB housemate apologized.

Bont Oropel reacted to the way Pokwang has called out Baninay Bautista. He stressed that the production of the show was already informed that she has already tested negative for COVID-19.
Comedienne responded to the statements of Bont. She expressed her sympathy to him over the loss of his father and stressed that his girlfriend should have uploaded the video in a way that won’t cause panic to those she had a contact with.
Pokwang further stated that she has a baby and a senior citizen mother that’s why her reaction is natural. According to her, she really cried after watching the vlog of Baninay Bautista as she’s thinking about her family. Here are the comedienne’s Tweets:
