Former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Baninay Bautista has issued an apology after spreading scare to the public when she earlier announced that she’s positive of COVID-19.
In a Twitter post, she apologized for causing fear to many. She also noted that she has talked with Pokwang privately and settled things.
“We already talked and settled things in private. I apologized for causing fear and ngayon po ay clear na lahat. Again, sorry po. Wala po talaga akong intensyon na masama,” she wrote.
It was on August 16, when Baninay Bautista shared via vlog which she posted on her official YouTube channel that she’s positive of the dreaded virus.
According to her, she and her boyfriend Bont Oropel and other family members recently tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Many expressed sympathy on her revelation but a furious Pokwang went to Twitter wherein she refuted the claims of Baninay Bautista about the latter’s COVID-19 infection.
Based on her tweets, the former PBB housemate contracted the disease last July 21. She recovered and tested again. Her results came on August 2 and it turned out negative.
In one of her tweets, she said: “sa ganitong panahon maging responsableng vlogger naman! hindi yung puro pera pera lang… wag ganon.”
Baninay Bautista rose to fame when she became part of the reality TV show “Pinoy Big Brother.
