A Pinay nurse identified as Lorraine Pingol who helped a homeless woman to give birth received a cash reward from Raffy Tulfo.
Last week, the Filipina nurse goes viral online and becomes the headlines of several local news outlets after assisting a lady street dweller to give birth to her baby. The incident spread like a wildfire online.
Pingol assisted the homeless lady to give birth without any hesitation although she is already late for her job. She also forgot the coronavirus pandemic just to perform her job as a health worker.
Recently, Lorrain Pingol has been featured at Raffy Tulfo’s show and received cash reward from the veteran radio broadcaster. The video immediately spread like a wildfire online and earns praises from the netizens.
In the video, Raffy Tulfo expressed his admiration and lauded the nurse for her act of kindness towards the needy one. He also asked the female nurse to narrate the entire incident and was moved by her gesture.
The health worker also shared that she is still battling ‘leukemia’ since 2013 and find it difficult to finance her medication.
After a few moments, the broadcaster surprised the nurse and gave her P100,000 as cash reward for her action.
