Pinay Nurse Lorraine Pingol Reveals She Fought Leukemia a Few Years Ago
The Pinay nurse identified as Lorraine Pingol who helped a homeless lady to give birth fought a severe illness a few years ago.
Earlier this week, Lorraine Pingol becomes the headlines of several local news outlets and social media pages after helping a female street dweller to give birth to her child. The lady nurse earns praises from the netizens.
Pingol helped the pregnant street dweller to give birth along Osmeña Avenue, Brgy. Bangkal, Makati City. Eventually, the homeless woman successfully gives birth to her baby with the help of the health worker.
The hospital personnel is already late for her work when the rescue team contacted her for help. She immediately responds to the medical emergency as a part of the oath she pledged as a health worker.
Recently, Lorraine Pingol revealed the reason why she is helpful towards others without expecting anything for return. The young woman revealed that many people helped her when she has been diagnosed with leukemia in 2013.
“Nung time na na-diagnose ako, maraming tumulong sa akin, “Kaya that’s one reason na rin kung bakit bukas-palad din akong tumutulong pagka may nangangailangan as long as kaya ko,” Pingol said.
