Melissa Ricks: “Maganda naman un elepante”
Melissa Ricks slammed a body shamer who called her “parang elepante” (like an elephant).
Recently, the 30-year-old actress went to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she posted a video of herself flaunting her latest figure.
While it’s gaining a fair share of comments, a basher took notice of her figure and body-shamed her.
An Instagram user with the handle name “agnes.penida” initially asked her: “Ano ng ysri sau peg”
Melissa Ricks on the other hand replied, “tumaba at nag kaanak. Un po ang peg.”
But the body-shamer did not stop from commenting unto the clip of Melissa Ricks as the basher went on saying: “Hnd bayay parang elepante kna melesa” (with laughing emojis).
The Star Circle Quest runner-up fired back by noting: “hayaan mo na. Maganda naman un elepante.”
Outraged followers and supporters of Melissa Ricks then replied to the basher’s thread while lambasting her for criticizing their idol.

Melissa Ricks rose to fame when she won as runner up in the ABS-CBN reality talent search, “Star Circle Quest.”
After the competition, she ventured into acting and she has been known for her love team with Matt Evans.
It was in 2015 when she last appeared on TV via a Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode and early this year, she made a television comeback via action-drama series, 24/7 starring Julia Montes, Arjo Atayde and Joross Gamboa.
