Singer Katy Perry gave birth to a healthy baby girl with husband Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom.
The couple welcomed their first child named Daisy Dove via an announcement which they posted thru the official website of UNICEF.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” they said.
Kary Perry and Orlando Bloom, both serve as Goodwill Ambassadors of UNICEF.
“But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes,” they noted.

Katy Perry is considered one of the most popular singers today.

On the other hand, Orlando Bloom starred in some of the well-known movies such as; Kingdom Of Heaven, Troy, Pirates Of The Caribbean, The Hobbit, Black Hawk Down, and The Lord Of The Rings.
According to the entertainment website, Push, it was in March when Katy Perry first announced her pregnancy and in April, she confirmed that she’s having a baby girl.
