Jobert Sucaldito on PhilHealth investigation
Showbiz news anchor and columnist Jobert Sucaldito took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he defended the government’s investigation on PhilHealth issue.
Recently, several officials of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) were under fire over alleged corruption within the state-run insurance firm.
This prompted President Rodrigo Duterte to launch a high-level task force probing the alleged anomalies within the agency.
Many have reacted on the apparent investigation which will be headed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and among who earlier commented on this matter is journalist Jobert Sucaldito.
“I don’t understand kung bakit kinu-curse ng marami ang pamahalaang Duterte sa kasalukuyang imbestigasyon ng Kongreso sa PhilHealth issue,” Jobert Sucaldito said.
“Duda silang palulusutin ng pamahalaan ang mga nasa likod ng anomalya rito. Hoy, kakampi niyo rito ang pamahalaan,” he continued.
“Kaya binubusisi nilang maigi ito para matunton ang mga buwitre sa loob at maparusahan. Ang hirap kasi sa inyo eh nabuhay kayo palagi sa duda,” Jobert Sucaldito noted.
“Bakit hindi kayo maghintay na matapos ang hearing at pag kinunsinti ng gobyerno ang katiwalian sa loob doon kayo magngawa,” he added.
The issue about PhilHealth corruption first erupted after resigned PhilHealth anti-fraud legal officer Thorrsson Montes Keith revealed in a Senate hearing that a whopping P15 billion worth of funds have been pocketed by the so-called ‘buwayas‘ in a “syndicate-like” transactions.
