Filipino-Spanish actor-chef Jose Sarasola, who was a former Kapamilya star, revealed his reason for transferring to GMA Network.
In a report on PEP.ph, several people allegedly told Sarasola that his decision to transfer to GMA Network was “wrong timing”.
To his response, Sarasola said in an interview with PEP.ph that the reason for his move was not about the problem of ABS-CBN – which he’s referring to ABS-CBN’s network franchise that was rejected by Congress last July 10 – if there’s a problem or nothing.
Sarasola also explained that the reason for his move was that he really wanted to pursue his culinary career, which he knew that more shows on GMA Network that could cater to being a celebrity chef compared to ABS-CBN.
According to Sarasola, he wasn’t given the opportunity by ABS-CBN to show his culinary culture for ten years.

On the other hand, Sarasola admitted that he’s indebted to ABS-CBN, which shaped his career for 10 years as an actor, yet he added that it was time for him to move on as well.
In addition, Sarasola said that he’s happy with being a chef in the provisions of the contract that he signed with GMA Network.
At present, he was said to be better known as a “celebrity chef” and not just an actor.
