Senior Citizens party-list Representative Francisco Datol Jr., dies
Congressman Francisco Datol Jr. of Senior Citizens party-list has passed away earlier today, August 10, 2020.
In a statement, House Secretary-General Jose Luis Montales confirmed the death of the Senior Citizens party-list representative.
“It is with deep sadness that we inform you that Cong. Jun Datol passed away a few hours ago,” he said.
However, Montales noted that they don’t have the details yet regarding the cause of death of the representative of the Senior Citizens party-list.
“We will give you the details as soon as we receive them,” Montales said.
“May he rest in peace. Our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones,” Montales added.

According to GMA News Online, it was only in December last year when Francisco Datol Jr. took his oath of office as the official representative of the Senior Citizens party-list under the 18th Congress.
Francisco Datol Jr. also served as the representative of the Senior Citizens party-list alongside former Congresswoman Milagros Magsaysay in the 17th Congress.
