Carly Rae Jepsen will host an online karaoke party to mark 5th anniversary of “Emotion”
Carly Rae Jepsen wanted to throw an online karaoke party as part of celebrating her “Emotion” album’s 5th anniversary virtually.
This, as Carly posted on Twitter announcing the good news to her fans about hosting an online karaoke party which was scheduled on August 27 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
In her Twitter post, she said that she wanted to celebrate “EMOTION” album’s 5th anniversary with an “EMOTION Karaoke Party” on August 27, adding that she would love to see videos of her fans singing their favorite songs fron the album.
Moreover, she said that there’s a new set of EMOTION merch on the website.

According to the said website, Carly’s fans can submit a video of themselves singing to one of the tracks from the said album and the deadline of submissions was on August 13, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

“Emotion” was Carly’s third studio album which was already released in 2015. Popular tracks from the said album include “Run Away With Me”, “I Really Like You”, and “Your Type”.
Carly then released a sequel to her “Emotion” album — the “Emotion: Side B” — which was released last 2016.
