Manila Apostolic Administrator Bishop Broderick Pabillo tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19.
In an official statement, Bishop Pabillo said that he is now in a “designated area for quarantine observing strict protocol as required.”
His staffers already undergone COVID-19 swab testing and fortunately, their results turned out negative.

Meanwhile, the Department of Health announced via its latest bulletin that the Philippines has recorded 1,594 additional cases, 342 new recoveries, and 6 new deaths as of Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
Based on the record of the country’s health department, the Philippines has now a total of 72,269 confirmed cases with 23,623 recoveries and 1,843 deaths.

With the rapid increase of coronavirus disease 2019 cases, leaders of different nations are doing their all in order to combat the spread of the deadly virus which started in China in 2019.
