Former senator and incumbent Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero talked about the anti-terrorism bill that was recently signed into law with his wife Heart Evangelista.
On Friday, July 3, President Rodrigo Duterte officially signed the anti-terrorism bill into law which has been tagged by a media site as “dangerous.”
The enactment of Anti-Terrorism Law was confirmed by Interior Secretary Eduardo Año and Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.
The law which is now called Republic Act No 11479 has gained a fair share of reactions from ordinary citizens to elite individuals.
Meanwhile, in the 3rd episode of “Adulting With Chiz,” Chiz Escudero talked about the controversial law with his wife and actress-turned-internet sensation Heart Evangelista.

In the said video, Chiz Escudero talked about how to deal with online hate, life after COVID-19 pandemic, and the enacted Anti-Terrorism Law.
It was on May 29 when the Senate voted in favor of the enactment of the new anti-terrorism bill or known as the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020, followed by a later approval from the House of Representatives.
Many have been vocal in opposing the law including popular celebrities such as Janine Gutierrez, Agot Isidro, Frankie Pangilinan, and Kobe Paras.

But Senator Tito Sotto previously said in an interview not to worry about the bill since it is only against the terrorist and not ordinary Filipinos.
However, he cautioned Filipinos involving in acts of terrorism.
