Lady Student Goes Viral for Studying on Roof Just to Find Signal Due to Slow Internet Connection Indoors
A lady student studying on the roof just to find the best signal for online learning goes viral on social media amid the coronavirus pandemic.
A female student named Namitha Narayanan of Kottakkal in Malappuram, India has no choice but to climb on their rooftop to attend her online class. She is experiencing poor network signal and slow connectivity indoors, so she goes to the roof to find the best internet connection.
Narayanan was in her final year as a BA student at the KMCT Arts and Science College at Kuttippuram. She had a lot of research and assignments, which were needed to be submitted to her professors.
Namitha’s sister took photos of her and uploaded it on social media as she felt pity for her sibling climbing the roof just to find a good signal. The photos immediately spread like a wildfire online.
A lot of netizens lambasted the internet service providers for the slow internet speed. Some service-providers also offered help and provide a high-speed internet connection for the female student.
“However, this is the first time I went to the rooftop to study. My sister Nayana put a photo of me on the rooftop as her WhatsApp status. This went viral and even became news,” Namitha said.
