Jon Lucas’s experience with COVID-19
Kapuso actor Jon Lucas took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he shared his experience with COVID-19 or coronavirus disease 2019.
In a lengthy post, the former Kapamilya star narrates his ordeal with COVID-19 at the New Era General Hospital (NEGH).
According to the 24-year-old actor, he was initially admitted at the NEGH after being tested positive in the COVID-19 rapid test.
His rapid test results noted that he’s “29 days onwards recovery,” meaning he is recovering from the disease.
Later on, after spending several days at the NEGH, he underwent COVID-19 swab testing or reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), and fortunately, his results turned out “negative.”

He cited that his exposure in the hospital along with other COVID-19 patients might have triggered him to acquire the virus brought by the coronavirus disease.
But prior to his admission at the NEGH, he revealed that he had a cough and fever, among the symptoms of COVID-19.

“Kaya rin siguro ako napunta don para makita ko mismo kung ano ba talaga ang sitwasyon sa loob ng Hospital na may mga COVID patients,” he said.
“Para na rin maibahagi sainyong lahat ang pagtulong at pagmamahal ng mga Doctors, Nurses, medical staffs, mga Ministro at manggagawa natin sa mga kababayan nating naapektuhan ng COVID,” he added.
