RT-PCR Test Result of Jon Lucas For COVID-19 Following Positive Result in Rapid Testing
JON LUCAS – The actor-dancer revealed the result of his RT-PCR Test three (3) days after he tested positive in COVID-19 rapid testing.
Currently, the Philippines is on a battle against the COVID-19 pandemic which has affected over 200 countries and territories across the globe. It has already claimed more than 400,000 lives worldwide.
The total coronavirus cases recorded in the country now is 33,069 with 1,212 deaths and 8,910 recoveries. The whole country is under a community quarantine now.
The COVID-19 disease exempts no one. There are cases that prove that even the healthy ones with no pre-existing conditions can be infected by the disease.
Amid the increasing COVID-19 cases in the country, there are questions regarding the accuracy of the rapid testing. There are several cases when patients tested positive in the rapid testing but negative in the RT-PCR test.

Recently, Kapuso actor Jon Lucas tested positive in COVID-19 rapid testing. Based on a report on Pep, he was experiencing coronavirus symptoms before he went to the hospital and was tested. To confirm it, he went through the RT-PCR Test.
According to Jon Lucas, he tested negative for COVID-19 in the RT-PCR Test. However, based on the report, he stayed for three (3) days at the New Era General Hospital (NEGH) with several confirmed coronavirus patients while waiting for the result of his RT-PCR Test.
The Kapuso actor said he experienced cough and fever but he thought it was just due to the many things he is doing. Meanwhile, he always turns to God Who clears his worries. He stressed that God promised to give enough strength amid every trial.
