The bikes that were given to the two employees will aid them as they report to their respective work amid the relaxed GCQ or general community quarantine.

At the beginning of the GCQ, public transportation was a challenge for many employees who get to work without any means of transportation/vehicle.

Based on the quarantine protocols and guidelines, public transportation is allowed as long as reduced capacity is observed.

This will help ensure social or physical distancing, especially among public utility vehicles. However, the resolution forced many employees to walk a longer period just to attend to there work.

Meanwhile, Gretchen Ho took to the social networking site Facebook to share the good news about the privileged people who benefit her cause.

According to a report of Inquier.net, Gretchen Ho gave one bike to a certain Nanay Caire, who works as a lady guard.

However, the woman stopped working since she could not endure walking for about 4 hours from her home in San Mateo, Rizal to her workplace in Novaliches, Quezon City.

“Imposible,” Gretchen noted. “Pero ngayon, may bisikleta na siya kaya makakatrabaho na siya ulit!!” she added.

Gretchen Ho gave the other one to a merchandiser named Rufino who’s traveling from Quezon City to Caloocan just to attend to his duty.
