LG Electronics officially launched its latest smartphone, the LG Velvet, in South Korea. Check out its specs, price, and availability below.
The launching of this smartphone came as LG Electronics previously said that that this could be the company’s first device to implement its branding strategy in order for its customers to capture the nature of the device that would suit to their personality.
Specifications
Based on its physical appearance, this smartphone has a “raindrop” camera module, a logo on the back part of the smartphone, and a waterdrop notch on the front portion of the device.
In terms of its key features, it has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G processor, 8GB of internal memory, 128GB of internal storage, an IP68 rating, and MIL-STD 810G specifications. It also has a battery capacity of 4300 mAh and has a battery life of up to 18 hours.
As per the smartphone’s cameras, LG Velvet has a triple-rear camera setup wherein the main camera has a 48MP sensor. Also, the front camera has a 16MP sensor.
Moreover, this smartphone weighs 180 grams.
Price
This smartphone was priced at KRW 899,800 and it comes with four color variants: Aurora White, Aurora Gray, Illusion Sunset, and Aurora Green.
Availability
As per the report, this smartphone will be available through its local operators. LG Electronics has yet to announce the availability of this smartphone in the Philippines.
