A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz was spotted in a barangay hall in Cebu due to this particular reason.
After taking his hiatus back in 2017, the award-winning actor showed that he can definitely cope up with a simpler life away from the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry.
He was seen buying from sidewalk vendors, riding a jeepney, and visited a barbershop with P40 pay for a haircut. Fans have been used of spotting him anywhere mingling with ordinary people as if he has no star status in showbiz.
Just recently, he was spotted once again in a barangay hall in Cebu, the province where his former partner Ellen Adarna lives. The former couple admitted that they are co-parenting now their son Elias Modesto.
Photos of Lloydie in the barangay hall in Guadalupe, Cebu City circulated on social media. Those were taken on Thursday as the A-list actor was waiting for his turn.
Based on the Twitter post of The Freeman News, a Cebu-based news entity, John Lloyd Cruz was there to get his barangay clearance for his return to Manila.
In one photo, he was seen sitting as he was holding a document. The other one showed that he granted a selfie photo with people in the barangay hall. It can be seen that he looks so simple with his ball cap, white printed shirt, blue shorts, and sandals.
Meanwhile, John Lloyd Cruz has already started doing projects for his showbiz comeback before the community quarantine period took place. The fans of his tandem with Bea Alonzo are already anticipating their reunion movie.
