Speculations circulated that the last project of box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina is the reunion movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.
John Lloyd and Bea worked together in the movie One More Chance and its sequel A Second Chance that were both directed by Direk Cathy. After almost two years of hiatus, fans of the A-list actor have been waiting for him to do a movie once again.
Some fans are already anticipating that he will do a reunion movie with his former leading lady. During a recent interview with Direk Cathy, based on the article from Bandera, she confirmed that her one of her last two movies before she migrates to New Zealand will feature John Lloyd Cruz.
The director shared that she still has constant communication with the A-list actor. “E, kasi, ‘yung aso ko, kapatid nu’ng aso niya. E, nanganak ‘yung aso ko, E, ‘di tito na ‘yung aso niya,” she shared with jest.
When it comes to the movie that they will do together, Direk Cathy said, “I cannot say ngayon. Mapapagalitan po ako. But sigurado ako na ‘yung dalawang huling pelikula ay sa dalawang taong malapit sa puso ko.”

When asked if Bea will be the leading lady of John Lloyd in one of the two movies, the director answered that she can’t answer it right now. “Sabi ba? Uhhh, basta ako, my lips are sealed. Mapapagalitan nga ako,” Direk Cathy said.
Meanwhile, she was also asked if she will totally leave the industry once she goes to New Zealand, she answered that it depends if she’ll really like the quietness in the said place. However, she said that she will definitely return if she’ll miss the industry, based on the article.
