Google delayed its Android 11 Beta Launch Show due to this.
Google officially announced that the company was delaying its Android 11 Beta Launch Show as well as the beta release of Android 11 due to this.
This, as Google, in its tweet, rescheduled its June 3 event in light of ongoing protest in the United States. Although the company was excited about its upcoming event, it said that “now is not the time to celebrate”.
Google has yet to announce the new schedule for its upcoming event.
We are excited to tell you more about Android 11, but now is not the time to celebrate. We are postponing the June 3rd event and beta release. We’ll be back with more on Android 11, soon.
For its app developers and partners, Google told the public that the company wasn’t changing the schedule for the final release of Android 11, which was scheduled for the third quarter of 2020. Google will provide up-to-date timing as it will become available.
The first beta version of Android 11 — which was originally scheduled to release this month — was rescheduled due just because the company “decided to add a bit of extra time” to release its schedule from February. Also, the Android team previously said that it’s “collaborating remotely” as well as prioritizing the well-being of their families, friends, and their colleagues.
With this, Google will release the Android 11 Developer Preview 4 (DP4) instead of releasing the first beta version of its mobile operating system.
