On April Fool’s Day, Vico Sotto warns people
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto warns people regarding the April Fool’s Day jokes about the new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The young mayor is one of the hardworking local government officials who continue to do measures in order to protect their constituents amid the health crisis in the Philippines.
Mayor Vico has been using his social media accounts to deliver to the Pasiguenos the latest updates. It is also his way to announce the programs and measures that the Pasig City government is doing.
Now that Pasig is still under enhanced community quarantine and April Fool’s Day arrives, Vico Sotto warns people regarding jokes about COVID-19. In his Twitter account, the young mayor commented on a post from @earthshakerph advising people that joking about being positive for COVID-19 will never be a good joke.

The son of Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes has this caption: “Ang mag-April Fools joke tungkol sa covid, ipapasok sa isolation facility ng 14 days.” Whether he is serious or not, the point is that joking about a very serious health issue could never bring out laughter from others.
