LPP Recommends Lifting ECQ In LGUs With Zero COVID-19 Cases

The League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) suggested the revocation of enhanced community quarantine in local government units without confirmed cases of coronavirus disease.

This, as Marinduque Governor Presbitero Velasco Jr., the president of the League of Provinces of the Philippines, said that the duration of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) exceeded the two-week incubation period of the coronavirus disease.

Velasco added that the extension of the enhanced community quarantine would be possible to provinces, cities, or municipalities having COVID-19 cases.
