A Health Ministry in Iran on Saturday said that the country had reported 158 new fatalities due to COVID-19 or coronavirus disease.
This, as Kianoush Jahanpur, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Iran, stated that the country already had recorded a total of 3,452 fatalities as of this writing.
Based on a report from Reuters, the total number of coronavirus cases in Iran reached 55,743, where 4,103 of these patients were in critical condition, while 19,736 patients were already recovered from COVID-19.
Globally, the coronavirus disease, as of this writing, had killed over 60,000 patients worldwide and infected over one million, adding that 238,498 patients were already recovered from the virus worldwide.
