This, as the health ministry said that a 55-year-old man, who had underlying conditions, died due to COVID-19 or coronavirus disease.
As reported by AFP News, the said patient, who was a 55-year-old man, suffered hypertension and diabetes, adding that Haiti had recorded a total of 21 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Globally, the coronavirus disease, as of this writing, had infected over 1.2 million patients and killed over 68,000 people worldwide, adding that 260,294 patients across the globe were already recovered from the virus.
