Coronavirus Patients Include Employee of Taguig-Based Firm

EMPLOYEE OF TAGUIG-BASED FIRM – Deloitte confirmed that one of its employees in the Philippines tested positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus.

One of the biggest global concerns nowadays is the COVID-19 or the 2019 novel coronavirus. The said disease which first emerged in China was recorded in several countries across the globe now.

Recently, the Department of Health (DOH) confirmed two (2) new coronavirus cases in the Philippines. It was already weeks that the country is free from confirmed coronavirus cases.

Employee of Taguig-Based Firm Tests Positive for Coronavirus

The first coronavirus death outside China was recorded in the Philippines. The patient was a Chinese man aging 44 years old. The two (2) other confirmed coronavirus cases who managed to survive the disease were Chinese nationals as well.

With regards to the new coronavirus cases in the country, the two (2) patients are Filipino men aging 48 and 62 years old. One of them has a travel history to Japan while the other has no recent travel abroad.

Recently, another huge firm confirmed that one of its workers in the Philippines tested positive for COVID-19. It was not stated if the patient is among the two (2) new coronavirus cases in the country or not.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, an employee of the Taguig-based firm, Deloitte Philippines, tested positive for novel coronavirus. According to the company, their worker is now admitted and treated in a hospital.

Deloitte assured that the health and safety of its people and clients are its top priority based on the report. It assured the assistance for the treatment of its employee.

Also, following an employee of the Taguig-based company testing positive for coronavirus, the firm is informing those who were in contact with the patient “for the appropriate checks”.
