UMF in Miami canceled its three-day event due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Ultra Music Festival (UMF) in Miami, one of the biggest events for EDM fanatics, canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

This, as Ultra Music Festival, through its official site, released an official statement, saying that the City of Miami released an official directive requiring that the said event, which was originally scheduled for March 20-22, 2020, will be postponed to March 26-28, 2021.

The said event in Miami was to feature sets from major DJs, including Zedd, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, Armin Van Buuren, and a lot more. The cancellation came due to the Florida Governor’s declaration of a public health emergency and Centers of Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Interim Guidance for COVID-19.

Ultra Music Festival added that there was “no higher priority for us than the health, safety, and physical well-being” of each of the attendees and UMF’s production staff. Also, Ultra Music Festival advised that all ticket purchasers will be contacted by their email on Monday, March 9, regarding their next steps.
