Vice Ganda releases ‘Corona Bye Bye Na’ song
It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda released a song titled ‘Corona Bye Bye Na’ that is about the novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
The Philippines is one of the Asian countries that are currently suffering from the coronavirus. In order to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, the government decided to implement enhanced community quarantine.
Amid the health crisis in the country, showbiz personalities have been reaching out to people in order to provide help and entertainment. Some started fund-raising campaigns for food for the people who are affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
On the other hand, there were those who started initiatives to help the frontliners. Meanwhile, Vice Ganda, aside from his donations, shared the song ‘Corona Bye Bye Na’.
It’s a funny way of encouraging people to observe proper hygiene amid the spread of the virus. The song also encourages people to stay at home and promote positivity amid the crisis.
Vice Ganda even featured his own dance steps for the song that went viral on social media. As of press time, the video on YouTube already reached more than 100 thousand views.
This video garnered various reactions from the online community. Several netizens wrote funny comments while some said that the song provides good vibes amid this trying time. However, there were those who bashed the song of Vice Ganda about the COVID-19.
