Baliwag, Bulacan Mayor Confirmed He Tested Positive for Coronavirus
BULACAN MAYOR – Mayor Ferdie Estrella of Baliwag, Bulacan revealed that he tested positive for the 2019 coronavirus.
The 2019 novel coronavirus exempts no one – regardless of age, status in life, and gender. The outbreak of the disease in Italy and China also show how worst it can bring a country.
That is why the Philippine government is doing everything it can to curb the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19. Luzon is now under an enhanced community quarantine as part of the efforts.
Last night, a lot of people were surprised after Senator Migz Zubiri confirmed that he tested positive for coronavirus. He is the first Filipino political leader to have tested positive for the disease.
Recently, another politician confirmed that he is positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus. Through a Facebook post, Baliwag, Bulacan Mayor Ferdie Estrella revealed that he felt weak and he was having colds so he opted to see a doctor.
The Mayor is now under a treatment at a hospital. Meanwhile, he assured his constituents that he is overseeing their safety and he reminded everyone to stay at home to be safe. Here’s his post on Facebook:
