Marcelito Pomoy revealed that this happened before his AGT Semi-Finals performance
Pinoy singer Marcelito Pomoy almost didn’t make it to America’s Got Talent: The Champions Grand Finals because this happened before his Semi-Finals performance.
Marcelito once again made Filipino proud through his effortless performance a few days ago. He received warm feedback from the audience and the judges commended his performance but with the challenge from judge Simon Cowell to take a bigger risk on his next performance.
His rendition of the song Con Te Partiro with his dual voice earned him a spot for the AGT Grand Finals. However, many might not know that there was pain behind his superb performance.
After the Semi-Finals round, Kapamilya entertainment reporter MJ Felipe interviewed Marcelito Pomoy. The singer revealed that before his performance, he experienced chest pain and he thought he could not sing the song that the staff chose.
He just presented several songs and the staff of the show chose from those. Despite his health condition, Marcelito said that he just prayed that he could deliver the song.

Meanwhile, the Pinoy singer is back in the Philippines to prepare for the Grand Finals. When asked about his reaction to the reaction of the judges to his performance, he said, “Hindi ko ini-expect na ganoon ang sasabihin nila sa akin.”
For the comment of Simon Cowell to take bigger risks in his performance, Marcelito Pomoy joked, “‘Yun nga ang iniisip ko, ano kaya ang gagawin ko, ta-tumbling kaya ako, tumatambling, umii-split ako ‘pag kumakanta.”
He also shared that he already gave a list of the songs to the production staff that he will perform in the Grand Finals. When asked during the interview if he has a big chance of winning, Marcelito Pomoy said that he can’t be sure of that but entering the Grand Finals feels like that he already won.
