Here’s the life of now of Katrina Legaspi, known as “Hopia” in the kiddie gag show ‘Goin’ Bulilit’
Katrina Legaspi, popularly known as “Hopia” from the defunct Kapamilya kiddie gag show Goin Bulilit is living this life now.
Hopia joined the said show together with the batch of Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes. Through that stint, she as able to penetrate other platforms such as teleseryes and movies.
She was also known for playing the younger Kris Aquino in the Kapamilya drama series Hiram. Amid her popularity, Katrina left the entertainment industry, unlike her contemporaries. She pursued her studies and earned a degree in Communication Arts from Miriam College.
In 2016, she had her showbiz comeback, based on the article from ABS-CBN Entertainment. Katrina said that she was ready to take more mature roles and she was shedding off her “pa-tweetums” image.
“Mas sanay talaga sila don sa mataba na ako, ‘yung Hopia na nakilala nila. Hindi nila alam na dalaga na po ako ngayon. Kumbaga, gusto ko pong malaman nila na hindi na ako si Hopia,” she said.
She also admitted that she feels a bit sad that Kathryn and Julia are now big names in the industry while she is just starting again. However, Katrina said that it was okay since she had the opportunity to finish school so her time was not put into waste.
“Siguro hinayaan lang sa akin ni Lord na magtapos muna ako sa pag-aaral para wala na akong iintindihin at wala rin akong regrets. And now, sa tingin ko, ito na yung time ko sa career, focus na,” she added.
Based on the Instagram bio of Katrina Legaspi, she is also now a financial advisor. She also ventured into vlogging just recently.
