Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas had tasked the police to conduct an investigation on veterinarian’s death.
In a Facebook post, Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas said that the police of Talisay City will be able to solve the veterinarian’s killing through the leadership of Police Major Gerard Ace Pelare.
He revealed that the police informed him that they were able to recover the veterinarian’s cellphone and were already checking its contents that will be used as evidence. He also said that the police were “closely coordinating” with people who were close to the victim in order to check if Dr. Boligao received any threats to his life.
Mayor Gullas also encouraged the residents of Sitio Maanyag in Barangay Biasong to report to the police if they witnessed the incident that could help solve the case. He also assured the residents that the police will protect those who carried “crucial” information about the incident.
