Atty. Bruce Rivera, a diehard supporter of the Dutertes, is in a coma
ATTY. BRUCE RIVERA – The lawyer and Diehard Duterte Supporter (DDS) is now in critical condition.
MJ Quiambao Reyes, one of the close friends of Rivera, gave an update about the condition of the popular attorney.
“Nasa ospital po siya, he’s in coma… Kaya medyo hindi maganda… we need your prayers,” Reyes said.
It was on Tuesday when Rivera was rushed to hospital. He was already unconscious at the time.
According to Reyes, the doctor told them that the lawyer had an aneurysm.
An aneurysm occurs when part of an artery wall weakens, allowing it to abnormally balloon out or widen.
Reyes said that the lawyer should undergo an operation, but it should be decided by his family.
Her live video was then flooded with prayers and messages for the fast recovery of the lawyer.
Atty. Bruce Rivera rose to fame as one of the staunch supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
He’s also a close friend of Vice President Sara Duterte.
He appears on the radio program “Boljak” along with Atty. Jesus Falcis.
Rivera is also active on social media.
Rivera, a native of Argao, Cebu province, is a graduate of San Beda College of Law.
Rivera graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in political science in 2001 from Southwestern University.
He obtained his bachelor of laws degree from San Beda College in 2005 and passed the bar examinations in 2006.
