Young Lady Starts Fashion Business After Learning Sewing From YouTube
FASHION BUSINESS – A young lady learned sewing from YouTube and starts her fashion business after three years.
Nowadays, social media is considered one of the most powerful communication tools in different countries all around the world including the Philippines. It is quite useful for all people in this modern generation.
Most people use it as a communication tool but some use it for various purposes such as spreading information, entertainment, education, and other usages as well. It is also used for learning.
Recently, a 21-year-old woman named Rachel Jael Herry in Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia learned her sewing skills on YouTube when she was just 18 years old. She picked up her passion for fashion after watching some videos on YouTube.
Luckily, Herry’s dad who is working in Singapore bought a sewing machine for her. The young woman has started to learn how to sew her own clothes while trying to learn patterns using Google.
“Day by day, it became my hobby, and I was thinking that maybe I should make this hobby of mine into a job,” Rachel explained.

Three years later, Rachel takes a leap of faith and opened a fashion boutique called Chel Luxury. In the first few months of her business, she didn’t have a lot of customers but eventually attract clients for her custom-made clothes.
