Samsung T7 Touch SSD was named Innovation Awards honoree at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This, after Samsung was recognized for innovating its portable SSDs by adding a fingerprint sensor to the new Samsung T7 Touch SSD. According to Mike Mang, vice president of Samsung’s Brand Product Biz Team, the company launched the new T1 Touch just because its consumers “want to be able to securely carry their content with them.”
Aside from its built-in fingerprint scanner, this SSD also has its password protection and AES 256-bit hardware encryption. It comes with a black or silver sleek titanium metal case that weighs 58 grams.
This SSD will be available beginning later this month for the price of $129.99 (equivalent to PHP 6,600.00) for a 500GB version, $229.99 (equivalent to PHP 12,000.00) for 1TB version, and $399.99 (equivalent to PHP 17,000.00) for the 2TB version.
