To recall, AJ sang Paramore’s “That’s What You Get” and The Pussycat Dolls’ “Stickwitu” at Cebu City Sports Center last Sunday, March 26, 2022. She enjoyed watching her fans cheering and appreciating her performance although she doesn’t know how to sing.

The actress sings in front of many people during the said event, but there are some parts of the song that she goes out of tune. AJ continues to sing in order to entertain the audience.

As a result, some people said that she just danced and stopped singing.

In an interview on Cabinet Files last March 30, AJ admitted that she’s not a singer and so she laughed at the memes that came out and at the reaction of people to her voice instead of being hurt.

Yung Ate Kevin ko naman, kinanta sa harap ko yung ‘That’s What You Get.’

The actress wasn’t swayed by the criticisms she heard and read about her singing voice.

When asked if she had any plans to enroll in a voice lesson after the “Cebu mishap”, she said that she can sing. According to her, she knew how to sing but it was her first time facing a lot of people since the pandemic when she started acting.

PEP reported that AJ’s show in Cebu City was the first time the public saw the actress in person so they were very happy to see her. The actress was overwhelmed because she didn’t think she was well known in Cebu.
