Until now, many are still asking what is the real reason behind the rift between Kris and Ai-Ai. And for the first time, it was answered by Cristy Fermin.
In her program Showbiz Now Na, she revealed that James Yap- the ex-husband of Kris and father of Bimby, was the reason behind their feud.
According to Cristy, Kris usually asks Ai-Ai’s advice whenever she has a problem with James.
At one point, Ai-Ai allegedly told Kris to “isauli” or return James to his mom if they are no longer happy in their relationship.
But when Kris and James settled their discourse, the actress allegedly “nilaglag” or dropped Ai-Ai by telling the basketball star the comedian’s advice.
“Sinabi niya iyon, ni Kris, noong magbati na sila ni James Yap na, ‘You know what, si Ai-Ai, she told me na ibalik na lang kita sa nanay mo,'” she said.
Apparently, Ai-Ai’s advice irked James and even prompted him to confront the former over interfering in his relationship with Kris.
Cristy’s co-host Morly added that there was an altercation between Ai-Ai and Kris when the two met.
Cristy defended Ai-Ai saying she’s a good person.
Kris and Ai-Ai became close with each other when they became judges of the talent reality show, Pilipinas Got Talent.
Previously, Ai-Ai expressed her concern to Kris over her deteriorating health.
