While doing a stunt for Lolong, Ruru Madrid had a minor accident injuring his foot
RURU MADRID – The Kapuso actor was advised to rest for two to six weeks after accumulating a minor injury due to an accident while doing a stunt for Lolong.
Lolong is an upcoming series on GMA Network which is based on the world’s largest crocodile in captivity.
Aside from Ruru, it also stars Shaira Diaz, Arra San Agustin, Christopher de Leon, Jean Garcia, Rochelle Pangilinan, Paul Salas, Bembol Roco, Maui Taylor and to name a few.
Directed by Zig Dulay, it is set to premiere this year on the network’s Telebabad lineup.
While doing a stunt for the upcoming TV series, Ruru Madrid was involved in a minor accident.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The actor suffered from a hairline fracture and was advised by the doctor to rest for two to six weeks.

Days later, he took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein he thanked those who prayed for him.
His post was flooded with comments praying for his fast recovery.

Meanwhile, José Ezekiel “Ruru” Misa Madrid started his showbiz career after joining Protégé: The Battle For The Big Artista Break.
He then ventured into acting, portraying the role of Ybarro/Rama Ybrahim in the television remake of GMA Network’s Encantadia.
Aside from that, he also starred in some of the popular GMA shows such as The Half Sisters, The Gift, TODA One I Love and to name a few.
