Here’s the statement of Meg Imperial after being dragged into the breakup of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana
MEG IMPERIAL – The actress denied that she has something to do with the separation of Kapuso couple Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana.
It’s been weeks since the couple’s relationship became a hot topic on social media but even until now, they are yet to issue any statement to shed light about their supposed breakup.
There are lots of names linked to their breakup including beauty queen-turned-model Kelley Day and Kapamilya star Lovi Poe.
The two denied their involvement in the breakup of Tom and Carla.
Also dragged in the issue is actress, Meg Imperial.
Imperial and Rodriguez star in the movie “The Last Five Years.”
According to her, she’s aware that she’s being linked with Tom and that his relationship with Carla is on the rocks.
But in an interview, she refuted rumors that she has a relationship with Tom.
“I have been friends with them, pareho, constant naman yung communication with both of them since they are both part nung platform that I have mentioned to you before, so doon lang yung naging focus ko,” she said.
She also said that she would not be upset with Tom if he could not promote their movie considering the controversy he’s going through.

Tom and Carla have been in a relationship for seven (7) years before they tied the knot just last year.
