KAKAMPINKS – The supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo denied the accusation of Rep. Boying Remulla that some Caviteños who attended their grand rally in Cavite were paid.

In a statement, Robredo People’s Council-Cavite said that Caviteños voluntarily joined the said rally which took place in General Trias,

They also denied that there were activists and members of the National Democratic Front (NDF) who participated in the said gathering.

They also stressed that the said rally became successful because of “volunteerism.”

In the last part of their statement, the group left a quote that said: “Ang kabataang Caviteño ay hindi maikakahon, marami sila at iisa lamang ang kanilang pasyon- makatagpo ng liwanag sa nagdidilim na nasyon.”

Remulla has yet to issue any statement following the criticism he has been receiving.

Meanwhile, Robredo is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election.

Together with her runningmate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, they will go against the tandem of; former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

It was on February 8 when the campaign period kick-off and currently, all the candidates are busy campaigning across the country ahead of the coming polls.
