Here’s the reason why Julius Babao’s debut on Frontline Pilipinas was postponed
JULIUS BABAO – The debut of the former Kapamilya broadcaster on TV5’s Frontline Pilipinas was postponed.
His debut in the said news program was supposed to be taking place on Monday, January 17, 2022.
In fact, TV5 has released a teaser of his supposed to be first broadcasting stint on the Kapatid network.
In his recent Instagram post, one of his followers asked why his first day in Frontline Pilipinas alongside Cheryl Cosim did not go through.
The netizen asked: “I thought today was supposed to be your 1st day at Frontline Pilipinas? Did the date got pushed back? Stay safe, Julius”
According to Julius Babao, his debut in TV5’s news program was postponed due to the rise of COVID-19 cases.
He said: “dami may covid kaya postponed.”
Reports surfaced that Julius will debut on TV6 this coming February 7.
He will be replacing Raffy Tulfo who bid goodbye last October 1, 2020, because of his senatorial bid in the 2022 elections.
Meanwhile, Julius is considered one of the most popular broadcast journalists in the country. He started off as a reporter of ABS-CBN primetime newscast, TV Patrol in 1993.
Among the programs he’s been a part of are the following; TV Patrol World, Bandila, Alas Singko Y Medya, Talk TV, Mission Possible, at XXX: Eksklusibong, Eksplosibong, Expose.
However, after almost 3 decades with ABS-CBN, he left the network.
