Mobile phone giants Vivo, OPPO, and Xiaomi officially announced their partnership in order to establish Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance.
The Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance aimed to bring an innovative new wireless file transfer system to its consumers worldwide. The new system would enable “seamless cross-brand file transfer technology” with just a click.
The alliance also provides users with an unparalleled file transfer experience. It will also allow customers of Vivo, OPPO, and Xiaomi to transfer files between mobile devices easily.
According to Spark Ni, Senior Vice President of Vivo, the partnership between the brands would benefit their consumers internationally. Spark Ni added that their partnership “reinforces our commitment to bringing a fast, secure, first-in-class mobile experience.”
In order for this feature to function, users just need to turn on their Bluetooth or WiFi connection or turn on the function under the menu, and then select the files they wish to share with other devices. If the other party also turned on its function, an icon may appear to notify the user.
Once the receiver confirmed the file transfer notice, the selected files will be transferred.
This feature will progressively available on new Vivo products in different markets starting February 2020.
