Here’s the reaction of Willie Revillame to Bong Go’s withdrawal from the presidential race
WILLIE REVILLAME – The Wowowin host gave a message to Senator Christopher “Bong” Go following his withdrawal from the presidential race.
Bong Go has been serving as a Senator since 2019.
But before being elected as senator, he served in President Rodrigo Duterte’s Cabinet as Special Assistant to the President (SAP) and Head of the Presidential Management Staff from June 2016 to October 2018.
Go has served as the personal aide and special assistant to Duterte since 1998, back when Duterte was still mayor of Davao City.
At present, he is the chairman of the Senate committee on health and demography.
However, in a surprise move, Bong Go, a longtime aide-turned-senator withdrew his bid for the highest government position.
Among those who reacted to his withdrawal from the race is no less than Wowowin host Willie Revillame.

The veteran host was thankful for Bong Go because the politician paved way for his program to return airing amid the lockdown last year.
It was on March 15, 2020, when Wowowin stopped airing on GMA-7, but thanks to the senator, it aired anew.
After thanking the senator, he recognized the senator’s position amid the Duterte-Sara political feud.
“Tama ka, nu’ng nag-uusap tayo, ang hirap ng sitwasyon mo. Kinakampanya ka ng tatay, iba naman ang kinakampanya ng anak. Saludo ako sa naging desisyon mo. God bless you,” he said.
The president earlier vowed to support Bong Go in his presidential bid while the presidential daughter is supporting the candidacy of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
