Globe Telecom was offering free, unlimited internet connections at selected hospitals in Metro Manila through its GoWiFi services.
This, as Metro Manila will be placed under community quarantine for a month starting March 15, 2020, in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease or COVID-19. Because of community quarantine, most companies and schools were encouraged to implement a work/study from home policy to its employees.
With Globe’s free GoWiFi service, Globe Telecom will help both medical professionals and patients connect with their loved ones, and be informed in the current news and updates about the COVID-19 pandemic. GoWiFi will be free to use in these hospitals from March 13 to April 15, as posted by Globe Telecom:
